Using the Logitech Flow software, you can drag/drop files between machines (including between Windows and MacOS).

It also works with up to 3 machines at once - you just press a button on the bottom of the mouse to switch. You can actually assign not just single keystrokes, but key combinations to any of the buttons, and the assignments work on a per-application basis, (so you can have a totally different set of commands for a second DAW, etc) There's a second horizontal scroll wheel under your thumb too. THAT is appealing!I have the MX Master 2S, and you can very easily do everything you've outlined above. In conclusion.I really like the look of the MX master, but i have been stuck on the magic mouse for ages because of the low profile. The fact that it's nevertheless among the best scrolling mechanisms is a testament to the concept. But yeah, it's ridiculous how badly they messed up this amazing concept. :-P A decade ago the scroll ring sensors were pretty much guaranteed to give up, within the warranty period if you were lucky. Or did you mean there were no batteries included in the box? That could potentially be mildly annoying.Д®h, be glad it works now. It should have a AA battery instead of a POS custom battery, period. The wireless Logitech trackball from 15+ years ago (whatever it was called) had a PCB that still took up most of the actual body and it had plenty of space for a AA battery, or was it still two back then the M570 and the MX Ergo have virtually the same shape except the PCB has shrunk and shrunk and shrunk. And there's space aplenty in any mouse manufactured in the past two decades most of it is completely empty. The only semi-plausible excuse for custom junk is a lack of space. A bog-standard AA or two is an enormous positive in any wireless device. They fixed the crappy switches from the M570 but apparently they just couldn't help themselves from putting in another debilitating flaw. The shitty built-in battery in the MX Ergo is by far its worst failing. I found it awkward for the price point to need AA batteries when the MX Ergo has builtin. WHY THE HELL MICROSOFT STOPPED MAKING SUCH AN AMAZING TRACKBALL? Scrolling diagonal feels less smoother in the expert mouse. I believe the dots in the ms trackball fine tune the cursor with very precisely translations (when bouncing the laser light). Really? How the hell this pass QC? Ive looked online and seems its a common thing.Дiagonal ball scroll move is not as smooth as the MS Trackball Explorer. The scroll ring scratch a plastic part inside the mouse. Overall this is my negative feedback for the expert mouse:

But thinking long term, you always be able to swap or buy external rechargeable AA batteries (if they still exist), and the Ergo might one day stop charging. I did not mind the steep inclination maybe because I haven't had yet a slimblade.

The expert mouse bluetooth its a hell of a beast. Just got in to the trackball game after years of playing with Logitech M570 and MX Ergo.
